The Complete College Station Experience

Family Vacation Itinerary

Begin your family vacation by settling into your accommodation and getting to know the local area. After unpacking, head out to The Junction Café for a leisurely breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead. Explore nearby attractions, whether it's a scenic park, a historic museum, or a quaint town center. In the afternoon, plan for an adventure that suits the whole family—perhaps a hike through a nature trail or a visit to a zoo. Take a break for lunch with a picnic in a picturesque spot. As the day winds down, enjoy a family dinner at a Brazos-Proper Texas Kitchen, sampling Texan cuisine. After dinner, take a leisurely stroll through campus to soak in the rich legacy that Texas A&M has to offer.

Day One: Check-In

    • Four children are joyfully running along the edge of a pool at an outdoor setting with a stadium in the background.

Our outdoor rooftop pool is what summer vacation dreams are made of. Watch your kids swim to their heart’s content as you relax in the sun or our private poolside cabanas.

      Peruse an Area Museum

For many parents, museums don’t exactly scream kid-friendly. College Station is different. Most museumsfeature interesting exhibits for all, whether you visit the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum or the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. Kids will especially love the Children’s Museum of Brazos Valley.
