Family Weekend 2020
Parents' Guide to the Top Events
Every year, Family Weekend comes to Texas A&M at just the right time. Students are already wondering if the semester is ever going to end. Parents are eagerly awaiting the day they’ll have their student back under their own roof. Family Weekend is a break from it all.
Like any Texas A&M event, Family Weekend is pumped with Aggie pride. Campus and College Station alike are abuzz with families reuniting. Whether it’s a university-hosted event or a simple family meal, Family Weekend has a way of reconnecting students with their parents. It also may be among students’ first opportunities to introduce their parents to the Aggie way of life.
Moms will love events like the Aggie Moms' Boutique, while the whole family can take a peek into TAMU traditions at events like a massive, campus-wide tailgate and the Maroon & White football game. Brush up on our guide for parents before Family Weekend kicks off April 17-19, 2020.
